2015 Subaru BRZ rear view mirror

The middle asking price for a used one is $63.45, across 37 live eBay listings for the 2013–2018 generation. Half of them ask between $50.00 and $99.95. That’s what sellers are asking, not what buyers paid. Sold prices aren’t published anywhere you can count on, and asking prices usually run about a quarter higher than what things sell for — so we say which one this is.

How it comes off

Clips break. Pry at the clip, not the middle of the panel, and a spare handful from the same car costs nothing.

  1. Look for a set screw or a spring clip where the mirror meets its button on the windshield.
  2. Release it and slide the mirror off the button. Some twist off instead. Never pry against the glass.
  3. On a dimming or camera mirror, unclip the wire cover at the headliner and unplug it.

The usual order on most cars. A 2015 Subaru BRZ may hide a screw or a clip somewhere else: if a piece will not move, look for what is still holding it before you pry harder.

What to bring for it

Typical sizes, not a promise for every car. Everything to bring to a pull-your-own yard.

Is it worth pulling?

That depends on what the yard charges for it and how long it takes to get off the car, and on where it sits against the other 57 parts on a 2015 Subaru BRZ that have a market. The full sheet for this vehicle ranks all of them by what you save and by what you clear.
