2005 Lexus ES radiator

The middle asking price for a used one is $56.78, across 44 live eBay listings for the 2005–2006 generation. Half of them ask between $31.48 and $79.35. That’s what sellers are asking, not what buyers paid. Sold prices aren’t published anywhere you can count on, and asking prices usually run about a quarter higher than what things sell for — so we say which one this is.

How it comes off

  1. Put a rag under the lower hose, then take both hoses off.
  2. Disconnect any transmission cooler lines.
  3. Unplug the fan and remove the top brackets.
  4. Lift it straight up and out, with the fan on many cars. Mind the fins.

The usual order on most cars. A 2005 Lexus ES may hide a screw or a clip somewhere else: if a piece will not move, look for what is still holding it before you pry harder.

What to bring for it

Typical sizes, not a promise for every car. Everything to bring to a pull-your-own yard.

Is it worth pulling?

That depends on what the yard charges for it and how long it takes to get off the car, and on where it sits against the other 81 parts on a 2005 Lexus ES that have a market. The full sheet for this vehicle ranks all of them by what you save and by what you clear.
