2003 Hyundai XG350 rear bumper cover

The middle asking price for a used one is $245.53, across 2 live eBay listings for the 2002–2005 generation. That’s what sellers are asking, not what buyers paid. Sold prices aren’t published anywhere you can count on, and asking prices usually run about a quarter higher than what things sell for — so we say which one this is.

How it comes off

Hood, hatch and tailgate struts hold the panel up under load. Support the panel before you take a strut off, and bring a helper for anything you cannot hold with one arm.

  1. Take out the tail lights where they cover its mounting.
  2. Remove the screws and clips in the wheel wells, along the bottom and inside the trunk.
  3. Pull the corners out to release the side clips.
  4. Unplug the sensors and plate lights, then draw it back with a helper.

The usual order on most cars. A 2003 Hyundai XG350 may hide a screw or a clip somewhere else: if a piece will not move, look for what is still holding it before you pry harder.

What to bring for it

Typical sizes, not a promise for every car. Everything to bring to a pull-your-own yard.

Is it worth pulling?

That depends on what the yard charges for it and how long it takes to get off the car, and on where it sits against the other 72 parts on a 2003 Hyundai XG350 that have a market. The full sheet for this vehicle ranks all of them by what you save and by what you clear.
