2014 BMW M6 console lid

The middle asking price for a used one is $89.96, across 9 live eBay listings for the 2012–2017 generation. Half of them ask between $76.46 and $107.96. That’s what sellers are asking, not what buyers paid. Sold prices aren’t published anywhere you can count on, and asking prices usually run about a quarter higher than what things sell for — so we say which one this is.

How it comes off

Clips break. Pry at the clip, not the middle of the panel, and a spare handful from the same car costs nothing.

  1. Open the lid and find the hinge screws under it or at the back of the console.
  2. Hold the lid while the last screw comes out, so the hinge does not tear.
  3. Lift it off. Some hinges unclip instead.

The usual order on most cars. A 2014 BMW M6 may hide a screw or a clip somewhere else: if a piece will not move, look for what is still holding it before you pry harder.

What to bring for it

Typical sizes, not a promise for every car. Everything to bring to a pull-your-own yard.

Is it worth pulling?

That depends on what the yard charges for it and how long it takes to get off the car, and on where it sits against the other 84 parts on a 2014 BMW M6 that have a market. The full sheet for this vehicle ranks all of them by what you save and by what you clear.
