2003 BMW M3 sun visor

The middle asking price for a used one is $50.05, across 34 live eBay listings for the 2001–2006 generation. Half of them ask between $39.99 and $59.95. That’s what sellers are asking, not what buyers paid. Sold prices aren’t published anywhere you can count on, and asking prices usually run about a quarter higher than what things sell for — so we say which one this is.

How it comes off

Clips break. Pry at the clip, not the middle of the panel, and a spare handful from the same car costs nothing.

  1. Pry the cover off the base where the visor meets the headliner.
  2. Remove the screws under it.
  3. Unplug the vanity light wire, if it has one, and take the clip for the other end too.

The usual order on most cars. A 2003 BMW M3 may hide a screw or a clip somewhere else: if a piece will not move, look for what is still holding it before you pry harder.

What to bring for it

Typical sizes, not a promise for every car. Everything to bring to a pull-your-own yard.

Is it worth pulling?

That depends on what the yard charges for it and how long it takes to get off the car, and on where it sits against the other 82 parts on a 2003 BMW M3 that have a market. The full sheet for this vehicle ranks all of them by what you save and by what you clear.
